Google removes 600 apps from Play Store for policy breach

Google has removed 600 applications from the Google Play Store and banned them from monetizing ads as they violated the company's disruptive ad policy and rejected the interstitial policy.
"At Google, we have dedicated teams focused on detecting and stopping malicious developers trying to defraud the mobile ecosystem. As part of these efforts, we take action against those who create seemingly harmless applications, but that actually violates our advertising policies."
"Imagine that you unexpectedly receive a full-screen ad when you try to make a phone call, unlock your phone or while using the step-by-step navigation of your favorite map application."

"Malicious developers continue to be smarter in the implementation and masking of disruptive ads, but we have developed our own new technologies to protect ourselves against this behavior," the statement said.
